National Child Protection Week wrapped up on the 11th of September. During the week, many people across Australia had the opportunity to educate themselves on child protection. On Friday the 10th of September 2021 the Redbourne Group teams participated in Braveheats’ White Balloon Day. Together, the staff showed their support for the great work Bravehearts do every day in supporting children and families in need of help due to child sexual assault. NEW SAFETY SOFTWARE FEATURES!

As many of our clients work in the early childhood and school-based care sector, we understand the significance of National Child Protection Week. Every Child, In Every Community, Needs A Fair Go.

Throughout the week, our development team worked hard to release two new features for our customers in the Child Care and Family Day Care sectors – Roll Call and Safety/Medical Alerts (dashboard update). These new tools will help all who use Child Care Central or Harmony Web software keep the children in their care, safe.

Roll Call:

Roll Call (or head count) allows users to check off children’s names as they are called. It’s easily accessible on multiple devices, meaning that this task can be done wherever and whenever necessary.

Safety Flags:

The Children dashboard now displays Safety and Medical Alerts. Clicking the icon will open a Child Profile, displaying an extract from the Child’s Record, capturing all the important information services and educators may need quick access to.
